Hi, my name is Alyssa Robbins, and I am sophomore at the University of Central Missouri. I'm majoring in Secondary Math Education and minoring in photography. I work as an office assistant at school, serve as the scholarship chair in my sorority, and will be on the Spotlight Executive Board as the VP of Operations. This summer I will work as an employee at Lions Choice and as a manager at Midwest Pool Management. I also plan to continue to stay involved with my church's Vacation Bible School, and maybe get involved with my sisters' softball teams. I want to be involved as much as I can with kids and sports because I want some teaching and coaching experiences. As far as experience goes, I have worked at an after school care for two years before I went off to college, coached volleyball for 3 years, helped with Vacation Bible School for many years, and I have observed at least 36 hours in both middle and high school classroom settings. I plan to sign up to be a substitute teacher next year so that I can gain even more experience. Not only do I have a passion and love for teaching and coaching, but I also have a love for photography. I hope to be able to help with the yearbook staff at wherever I end up teaching, and possibly own a small business on the side.
