Google Apps Marketplace Gets An Education Category
Google has recently decided to add an additional category to their app store, Google Apps Marketplace. Since Google Apps Marketplace has been created it has grown to have over 200 apps from various startups. However, Google wants to continue expanding their marketplace by adding a new category that will have numerous education apps. The category will have "over 20 applications from 19 vendors including specialized apps for schools and universities." These applications will range from social learning games to grading software to math teaching tools and much more. This article was interesting to me because I am Secondary Math Education major, and it will be interesting to see what Google comes up with in the near future.
